Description

Participants will learn LGBTQ+ vocabulary and definitions. Participants will have an opportunity to wrestle with homophobia, transphobia, and heterosexism and identify concrete steps towards providing a safe home for LGBTQIA+ youth.

Natalie Chaffee

Natalie Chaffee is a licensed master-level social worker in Kansas and Missouri. She is certified as a Safe Sleep Instructor and a Child Passenger Safety Technician. Natalie is also a certified TIPS-MAPP and DT Leader. Natalie has been in the world of child welfare for 7 years and in the world of Kansas foster care for 5 years. When she isn't training, Natalie is spending quality time with her fiancé and dog or singing competitive karaoke.
