LIVE WEBINAR - Stressed Out, Burnt Out, and Hoping for a Way Out
Please join us on March 25, 2022 from 9am-12pm for this continuing education course. This course will offer 3 credits, including 1 Ethics credit.
How is it possible stress can be good for you? And when does it become toxic? And if it does, what do you do about it?
Plenty! This workshop is not a traditional ‘self-care’ workshop. Incorporating principles and practices from several disciplines, including an understanding of our nervous system Pam’s innovative and informed approach to remaining resilient while caring for others is engaging, stimulating, and practical.
Although our work is very rewarding, it’s a field that can lead to burnout, secondary stress, and compassion fatigue. This workshop is designed to give you the tools needed to enhance your resiliency and to embrace self-care as an ethical issue.
The benefits of healthy stress, indicators of burnout, and secondary stress are explored as well as understanding and practicing regulation of the autonomic nervous system. Other foundational practices that both prevent and promote healing of secondary stress will be explored, with engagement from the participants. Come ready to engage and re-invigorate!
This course offers 3 credits with 1 of those credits being Ethics.
